Shimla Sightseeing – Kufri, Naldhera and Mall Road
Later enjoy an excursion to Naldehra. Naldehra’s spruce pines, old English style cottages and popular golf course, the oldest in India is a must see.Today morning after a filling delicious breakfast, visit Kufri.Kufri is the venue for annual winter sports festival held in February. Kufri is also renowned for other adventures activities such as skiing, tobogganing (sliding downhill on a sled), etc. Kufri has the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh. Kufri is also a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the outskirts of the town. The Park is home to over 180 varieties of fauna.Situated 2,044 metres above sea level, the destination is known for its oldest nine hole golf course in the country. It is surrounded by forests of cedars and deodars. Historical facts state that this hill station was discovered by the British Viceroy, Lord Curzon. Impressed by the natural beauty of Naldehra, he decided to make a golf course in this hill station.Thereafter visit the famous mall road of Shimla. Visit the Scandal Point, Jhakoo Temple on the Mall road. After ample of Shopping time, return to your hotel for a mouth watering dinner. Overnight in the hotel.
Transfer to Manali (290kms / approx 08 to 09 hours / 6,726 feet)
After an early breakfast, depart for Manali by road. Enjoy the scenic beauty of enchanting Kullu Valley while you drive to Manali. In Hinduism, Manu was said to have survived a great flood that destroyed the rest of the world. He then recreated mankind in this Kullu Valley town. Boost your adrenaline rush while you enjoy White Water Rafting in the gushing waters of the Beas River (on your own). Later arrive in Manali and check in at the hotel. Over night in hotel.
Manali - Excursion to Snow Point and Solang Valley (51 Kms / approx 3.5 hours)
After early breakfast enjoy a breathtaking drive to Snow Point on the road to Rohthang Pass. Known for its scenic beauty, Rohtang Pass holds strategic importance for India. Manali-Leh Highway, a part of NH 21, transverses Rohtang Pass. The name Rohtang means ‘ground of corpses’ due to the number of people who lost their lives trying to cross it. Besides Lahaul and Spiti, Rohtang Pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and the valley of Leh. The Pass offers beautiful sights of glaciers, peaks, Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. The twin peaks of Geypan are also visible from Rohtang. Later visit the famous Solang Valley. Solang Valley, locally known as Solang Nullah, is renowned as the preferred location for adventure activities inHimachal Pradesh. For those who love the rush of adrenaline; there is no place better than Solang in Kullu Valley to indulge in parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. It is 8500 feet above mean sea level. Solang is not just about adventure activities. Its lush greenery, apple orchards, snowcapped peaks and lakes attracts lacs of visitors.Return to hotel by the evening. Enjoy Dinner and overnight in hotel.
In Manali – Local Sight Seeing:
Today morning after breakfast, visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Mandir, Vashisth Kund. Hadimba temple, Also known as the Doongri Temple, is a four-tiered pagoda-like wooden temple standing in deodar trees and has beautiful carvings on its ornamental door. Dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhim, this temple is the venue for an annual fair held during May. Manu Mandir, situated in the old Manali region, this might be the only temple of Manu in India. The greasy pebbled sand stone trails that lead to the temple premises is very enchanting.Vashishta Springs, are located across the Beas river, about 3 km away from Manali, at an altitude of 1,982 meters (6,200 feet) and are the natural sulphur hot springs. Enjoy the evening on the mall road where you can buy souvenirs and handicrafts (on your own). Overnight in hotel.
Transfer to Chandigarh ( 320kms / approx 09 to 10 hours )
Today after breakfast, wave a goodbye to Manali and drive to Chandigarh by road. Visit the well known Kullu Vaishnomata Temple in Kullu. If time permits, visit Rock Garden. Chandigarh rock garden is an epitome of creativity and innovation. It is a unique garden that consists of various art objects. But the best part about the rock garden is that each of its artwork has been made by using industrial & urban waste. Adjoining Rock Garden is the Sukhna Lake. Chandigarh Sukhna Lake serves as a great picnic spot and an apt place for pursuing water sport activities like boating, yachting and water skiing etc. Later check in at the hotel in Chandigarh. Overnight at the hotel.
Drive to Delhi (265kms / approx. 06 hours drive)
Last day of the tour, today after early breakfast proceed to Delhi. The mesmerizing tour concludes as the vehicle drops you at Delhi Airport. You can aboard your further connection for your place with innumerable Romantic Himachal memories!
